WIAW & What's Goin' On 2/10/16
While the laxatives did there job in flushing out my stomach, they also flushed out the water and nutrients in there as well. Or at least that's how it felt. So I waited until I felt a little less nauseaous and then whipped up two eggs with spinach along with some banana covered in peanut butter.
I expected the nausea to subside once my breakfast digested, but I was still pretty uncomfortable. Irritation began to creep in as I realized I probably wasn't going to get to have the great workout I had planned for the day.
Ate a piece of toast to see if that would help calm things down, and then went grocery shopping to kill some time. Did you see my big haul on Instagram
Lunch after the market was some roasted Japanese yam & 1/2 a gluten free bagel with mashed avocado and turkey. It's been awhile since I've had a bagel, seeing as they aren't as easy to come by as gluten free bread, and I forgot how much I enjoy them!
Still aggravated that my stomach didn't seem to have any intention of chilling the F out any time soon, I munched on a mini hershey's bar to ease my irritation.
Got to my dad's about 4 P.M. - avoiding the dreadful 101 traffic woo! I saw that he picked up the melon I said I like, and of course I had to give it a taste test for sweetness. I enjoyed about six pieces of melon. I really wasn't kidding when I said I was a grazer!
Shortly after I'd put the melon away and dropped my bags, Jairo called on skype. We chatted until about 6:30 P.M. and also had our dinner together. I couldn't get over our makeshift dinner "date". He couldn't stop making fun of me for it. But hey, a date's a date! Even if we're thousands of miles apart. Even if he's eating KFC and I'm eating Sharky's Mexican :P
Dessert was a generous serving of chocolate chip Dryer's ice cream & an even more generous serving of Rocky Road!
Tell me,
What's your favorite way to eat eggs?
Are you a bagel person?
Snacker or prefer big meals?
