I came for the treadmill, but I stayed for the freebies that made me feel like someone who could afford an expensive spa instead of someone who's bouncing between hostels and my brother's couch. As some of you may have read on my instagram, my mom and her cousin are in town visiting Panama City. She's somewhat of a gym rat x1000 so when I told her the local gym I go to was closed...she decided to shell out the $25 for us each to get a day pass for the Hard Rock Hotel gym facilities. Little did we know that nifty (and by nifty I mean insanely overpriced) ticket included spa use! Needless to say I was a little excited. Given that I haven't had access to any cardio machines for the past three months here in Panama, I was really excited to hop on the treadmill with my Tone It Up Fat Burning Treadmill Workout. I'm still fairly new to Tone It Up and haven't had the chance to do any of the routines for the cardio machines but I will definitely be trying others after this awesome sweat sesh. Rocking Hard or Hardly Rockin'? Cardio & Weight Training WO
As previously mentioned, I started my workout with this treadmill routine from Tone it Up (linked above). It's about 30 minutes in total and definitely a toughie! If you give this a try you'll really feel the burn around the second run period at 5% incline. I enjoyed getting my sweat on, but I must admit I prefer the Blogilates Treadmill Shredmill Workout to this one. That being said I'm still super psyched to give the TIU stairmill routine a try when I get home. I have a feeling that one will be more my style. |
- Leg press at 200 3x12
- Delt flyes on machine at 15 3x15
- Chest flyes on machine at 35 3x15
- Chest press machine at 35 3x10
Finished up with TIU's The Best Quick Ab Workout and took some flex shots because I was feeling a bit badass in my brother's baggy shorts (forgot to do laundry when mom got here OOPS!)
